Goats, Sheep and Rabbits Our goats are amongst our friendliest animals, although that could be because they have their eye on your food bucket! In springtime and early summer you might be lucky and get to bottle feed a goat kid, but at any time of year our cheeky goats are a lot of fun. Look out for Bunnies in a Basket sessions - a firm favourite with our young visitors.
Ducks, Hens and Chicks Take part in a chat to a chick session in our hatchery. It’s a lovely experience for any age … a chance to get close up to a baby chick or duckling. Children also love to find and take home an egg from our nest boxes. These encounters are fun as well as educational, and our staff are on hand to supervise and explain.
Pigs, Cattle and Deer We have reindeer, alpacas, friendly cows and the famous Tamworth pigs. Check out the latest news on the home page to see if any piglets have been born recently. Pigs have an average of 10 piglets a litter, which is quite a handful. It’s a delight to see them all trying to feed at the same time. Poor mum!
Shire Horse Centre Our pride and joy is the Shire Horse Centre. Mr Rawlins and his son, Greg, are respected breeders and are a familiar face on show grounds around the Midlands. Get up close to these gentle giants and watch the foals frolic around the paddocks. We have ponies too, and offer a sit on for every child admission.
The Birds of Prey Centre The Birds of Prey Centre is provided by Eclipse Falconry, specialists in caring for and flying these magnificent birds. On most days there are a number of flying displays, although this is weather dependent. The falconry staff will be glad to answer questions and some lucky visitors will get to hold a bird.
Outdoor Play While the main attraction is our feathered and four-footed friends, we have plenty of play opportunities for running off some energy. One of our most popular attractions is the giant bouncy pillow. The farm includes three play areas, tractors and trailers to clamber over, and an indoor Toddler Barn.
Creepy Critter Barn Our collection of insects, arachnids, snakes, reptiles and amphibians is our newest feature. The emphasis is on getting up close and our enthusiastic keepers will inspire even the most nervous visitor. See the birthday party section for special Creepy Critter parties.
Allotment Garden We have a large allotment garden full of delicious fruit and vegetables through most of the summer and early autumn. This is a lovely quiet spot to get away from the bustle of the farmyard. In the holidays we hold special Allotment Days where children can lend a hand.
Big Play Barn Separate to the Farm, but on the same site, is our superb indoor Play Barn. We offer flexible pricing so that you can choose to visit just the Play Barn or just the Farm. Many families want a full day out and take advantage of our combi-ticket which allows you entry to both attractions.
